Hi, I’m Becky Ericson (Rericson on Twitter). I’m a twenty-something newlywed making noise online; strategic communications noise and generally discussing things I like. All blogs are selfish – at least I admit it!

When I’m not working, I’m thinking big thoughts, little thoughts and enjoying Mexican food. This blog isn’t an existential testimony, but I’m definitely searching for meaning and camaraderie about things that fascinate. (Working on my future manifesto, The Aperture Moment.)

I have a couple of college degrees and have the absolute best parents in the world. My husband is my best friend and we lead a fulfilling life together – as ordinary as it is! I work long hours and still have a little fire in me to rule the world some day.

I mostly feel ordinary and a little extraordinary about my life and my world. I’m a bit eccentric and tend to carry myself in a stream-of-consciousness type way. I’m a bad speller, but a good thinker, I think.

Long story, short… (Yeah, too late, I know.) I’m a Gen Y professional looking for meaning and fulfillment at the nexus of the career fast-track and the yearning for life experience.

Oh, I’m also a communications consultant at Fleishman-Hillard in St. Louis. (Disclaimer. Dum-da-dum-da-DUM!) This blog does not reflect the opinions of my employer or represent Fleishman-Hillard.

Thanks so much for stopping by -B
